Branding a Technology Company

The Brief

I was asked to reavamp the brand identity for a company in the technology space. They had been in the business for over a decade and wanted to refresh their internal and customer facing assets. As a small knit but highly effective team, the challenge was to present a crisp new corporate feel with the warmth of personal touch.

The Outcome

With this in mind, I got to work, exploring different ideas. With a name like Nkqubela, it was ideal to start symbol explorations based on the letter N that were appropriate to the tech space and that spoke to dynamism, innovation and trust.

After multiple revisions, we settled on an icon that encapsulated the N, the idea of infinite innovation and connection

The Result

We expanded the identity to different pieces of collateral, creating business cards, letterhead, templates etc. Everything needed to launch the business with a professional face.
