Capturing afro-centric cosmopolitan femininity
Tatenda wanted some guidance in defining her brand – Oshun, and a logo that could capture the essence of that brand.
We went through the brand sprint workshop together and at the end of the process, nailed down the brand as an afro-centric lifestyle brand celebrating divine femininity in all its glory. A big part of the core idea is to combine indigenous stories and myths with cosmopolitan sensibilities.
We crafted a brand document that outlined the core attributes of Oshun, and designed a logo that contained water in the womb of the ‘O’ referencing the goddess who is so closely tied with the water, fertility and love.
